Riggers are large, primarily humanoid mechs utilized by OriCon in civil, industrial, and military operations. Most Riggers stand between 1 to 3 stories tall and have a single pilot. The majority of Riggers are ground based though variants capable of operating in numerous environments exist.
Riggers can be operated by physical controls or via a neural interface, and many Riggers can be controlled remotely.
While there are numerous corporations throughout the galaxy that build Riggers, Minerva Mining and Mechanics' Rooks are the most ubiquitous military Rigger in the Golden Branch Star Sector. Other notable Rigger corporations include Fairchild, famous for their state of the art military Riggers especially Jace Rethal's Panther and Snowtrak Heavy Industries, whose mechs are mostly geared toward industrial usage.
