Kobus is the Candidate for the Divine Loyalty and with Loyalty runs the Lux Vox Data Research Center. They are the newest Candidate in the Golden Branch Star Sector and a little unsure of themself.
Kobus is young even for a Candidate, somewhere between 12 and 15, and because of this has developed and unhealthy dependence on Loyalty, going as far as eating and sleeping inside of Loyalty.

During the timeskip, Kobus steps down from their position as Candidate of Loyalty, though they remain working with the Hands of Grace. They also keep the name Kobus, claiming not to remember what their name was before becoming a Candidate.[1] Shortly before Rigor attacks, Kobus uploads Liberty into Grace's frame, hoping to fix her. However, the uploading process reveals to Kobus that Grace was never malfunctioning, and that her erratic behavior is just a thing she does sometimes. Rather than risk her attacking any more civilians or Liberty convincing her to flee, Kobus decides to pilot them both into Sigilia's sun, killing themself as well as both Divines. This puts Kobus at the highest Divine kill count of the season. |
